Montclair's Stephen Colbert is being urged in a semi-serious way to stage an answer to Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor rally, not coincidentally timed (despite his protests) for the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington, where Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.Beck's rally was of course an attempt to own King. You can't go wrong invoking King, even in a crowd as rice-white as Beck's. Invoking him goes a long way toward diffusing charges that many of his rapt followers are racists given courage to slog into the light
